Toy Tuesday: Yoga Garden

Yoga Garden is a collaborative movement game for children 4-7 (and beyond!). Players work together to plant flowers before nightfall, performing yoga poses (and creating your own) along the way during this beautiful journey.

This is also a great game to teach children yoga poses and motivate them to engage in a movement activity with peers.

Not only is this game beautiful, but it involves players in the beautiful idea of working together to create something - rather than competing against each other to win something.

This games also fits into the idea of sustainable play because once the rules of the game are learned, you can sustain a specific rhythm of play with little ups and downs (winning/losing, towers falling, etc) which allows you to focus on attention sustaining play within a group.

Comment below if you've tried this game, how did you like it?
